This Hungarian Beauty Is Successful, Can Bake And Drives A Ferrari

Just a year ago, 17 year old Bernadett Gere was preparing for the finals of the Miss Hungary beauty pageant in the teen category. Since then, a lot has transpired. Despite not yet being 18, she is full of experience, and last but not least, future plans.

Bernadett was selected as one of the 12 most beautiful ladies of World Top Model Hungary last November. Her beauty was also discovered there, and her reward was a 15-day model academy training in Monte-Carlo. Previously, Claudia Schiffer also graduated there. So, who knows, maybe great opportunities will open up for this beauty from Bükábrány.

In addition to beauty contests, Bernadett is also interested in photography. She was successful in this field as well - in May, you can see Bernadette in the columns of Wedding Trend Magazine.

Her passion for cars led her to the Miss AMTS competition in 2024, where she was successful yet again. She became the second lady-in-waiting, and this leads directly to Turin, where she will represent Hungary at the car exhibition in April.

What are the chances of a Hungarian, especially a girl from Borsod, in all these beauty contests? Bernadett replied: 

“There are many opportunities, you just have to use them - Fortunately, a lot of competitions start in Hungary. Every month there are one or two contests that you can enter and the prizes are pretty good. Most beauty pageants are in Budapest, so you have to make arrangements for travel. Fortunately, I've always succeeded. If someone has decided that they would like to try such a competition, don't hesitate.”

She continued: 

“I understand competitions as a kind of gaining experience. I've been to smaller competitions where fewer people started, but I've also tried in bigger competitions. Actually, when I see an ad and it's nice and timely, I apply. I usually ask the opinion of my parents and my partner, it's good if they accompany me to a competition. I am lucky that they support me in this. At the competitions, I can also meet well-known and experienced celebrities who can help me build my career going forward.”

What advice does an experienced beauty pageant have for those who haven't dared to submit their application yet?

“I think they don't want to compete in the first place. In the beginning, I messed up by wanting to win and beat everyone. I thought if I won it would be a huge confidence booster. The problem was, if I didn't win, I was disappointed. If you start a competition, it is already a great honor to be selected. You need to know that you are starting with the same odds as anyone else.”

The young girl is also fond of cars. She is also connected to cars in other ways, as she drives around in a red Ferrari, at a competitive level. Last year, Bernadett placed in the Hungarian Slalom Championship. Her mentor is Martin Bognár, a slalom racer, and Bernadett starts with his car, which is nothing but a red Ferrari BRC 02.

Bernadette Gere is not only beautiful, she is also skilled. After completing her pastry training, she received the news that she could start immediately at the Otthon Restaurant. Her big dream is to work in Desszertem's patisserie, and then to open her own shop. Bernadett ‘s next big plan is take a jetski course.

Bernadett has a dream life. She goes for what she wants. 

“From the very small, reserved, ostracized girl, I became this very strong, goal-oriented woman, and I want to realize my true potential.”
