The competition consists of three rounds: self-chosen dress, bikini and evening dress. The three rounds are evaluated separately, but the ranking is decided by the total score.
The jury of Beauty of the Lake consists of professionals in the beauty industry and sponsorsof the event. The jury evaluates clothing, appearance, posture, movement, speech and self-expression skills.
The first Beauty of the Lake competition was held in 1993, but the pageant didn’t start to run annually until 2006. The last contest was held in 2019.
